Basic Faces

The trick to having a perfect foundation base is to moisturise and use a foundation that is appropriate for your skin type, if you use a foundation that is really oily on oily skin you could end up with blemishes, which no one wants. I find Australis to be an all over cover, and is great on all skin types, as my skin type is combination of oily and dry I can have a pretty hard time finding a foundation that I can use on both, or with out creating a problem with the other.

When putting foundation or concealer on I would recommend that you use a brush or a sponge as it gives you a more even coverage.

If your a teen, and you only have a few blemishes I'd recommend that you use a concealer and a basic face powder as it will allow your skin to breathe more, and having younger skin this will benefit you as it will help keep your skin free of blemishes.

If you want a glowing face, for summer especially, use a bronzer instead of a face powder.

Use foundation sparingly and conceal your blemishes and unwanteds instead of trying to cover them in foundation. This normally results in having your face resemble a oopma loompa instead of a person. The powder should be your skin colour as having it to many shades either too light or too dark will give you a defined line of make up. The powder will take the shine off the foundation and concealer you have on and give you the perfect basic face.
